To those of you who have been following my Women of Providence Facebook page you know that we have been very involved in creating and launching our new website.
The person most responsible for this beautiful make-over is none other than Marilyn Dale. As you can see from the website, Marilyn is very creative and understands well the mission and purpose of the Women of Providence in Collaboration.
Through these many months of working with Marilyn I have learned a great deal about technology. I have also learned how much I don’t know. Marilyn is a very patient woman and a good teacher, for which I am deeply grateful! Let me tell you a little bit more about her.
Marilyn (Mackowiak) Dale is a 1970 graduate of Mother Guerin High School, established by the Sisters of Providence, St. Mary-of-the-Woods. Several years ago she re-connected with Dawn Tomaszewski, SP, who is the Vice President of our WPC Board. Dawn was, at that time, the VP of Advancement for the school. Marilyn worked for Dawn for about three years as they built out communications programs for the department.
Marilyn has an MBA from the University of Illinois as well as a Certificate in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She works in marketing, but is a professional fine artist as well. Our site was programmed by Mike Brandonisio of Jikometrix.net, a technical partner of Marilyn.
Marilyn lives near Chicago so we have done this website across the miles. Someday I hope to meet her in person! But for now, I’ll just share a photo of Marilyn with you, so you can “meet” the creative designer I have come to call friend.
