Introduction to the St. John’s Bible

Check-in is required 15 minutes before the start of your
morning reflection.
Description: Ignite your heart and spiritual imagination
as you prepare for Christmas. The St. John’s Bible is a breathtakingly beautiful contemporary illuminated
manuscript that unites the ancient tradition of Benedictine art with the technology and vision of today.
Appreciate advent passages and infancy narratives from the Gospel of Matthew and Luke in new ways

Presenter: Sister Michele Bisbey, CDP, PhD is a theologian, is currently the Provincial Director of the
Marie de la Roche Province of the Sisters of Divine Providence. She has been Professor of Religious
Studies and Ketteler Endowed Chair of Theology at La Roche College. As division chair of Humanities, she
oversaw eight departments, 18 full-time faculty members and a number of adjunct professors. During
the past decade, Sr. Michele has presented her ongoing research and engagement of the St. John’s Bible
in a variety of venues.

Cost: St. John’s Bible Basic Option $20; includes presentations, handouts and reflective materials.
St. John’s Bible Plus! Option $60; includes the same as above PLUS an additional hour of
individual sharing with Sr. Michele or another PROSO spiritual companion. PROSO will contact
you to set up a meeting after your registration is complete.
