The Sisters of Divine Providence have operated Kearns Spirituality for a number of years. During the pandemic it had to close but now is seeing a new life and new programs.
Kearns Spirituality Center, a facility that provides a space for spiritual nourishment and retreats, re-opened in March 2022 after a two-year closure due to the pandemic. Kearns is currently collaborating in PROSO (Providence Spiritual Outreach), a volunteer ministry of spiritual outreach offered by our Sisters and Associates with the Sisters and Associates of the Congregation of Divine Providence of Texas. PROSO Ministry offers retreats, conversation groups, workshops and spiritual direction. Through a collaboration with La Roche University, our Kearns facility is also a site for new community programs for the general public offered through La Roche’s Center for Lifelong Learning.
Kearns Spirituality Center now also houses the provincial leadership team on the second floor of one of its wings as well as the finance offices. It will share the beautiful chapel, pictured here, with the Sisters when their new residence is completed in the Fall.
