The Executive Committee of the Women of Providence met at St. Mary-of-the-Woods, IN, November 3-4 for the 2018 fall meeting. Sr. Dawn Tomaszewski was our host for the meeting.  The officers reviewed data from the June Providence Event, heard and discussed all the Executive Director reports as given by Barbara McMullen, and discussed the Finance Report given by treasurer, Alice Marie Lyon, CDP.  They had discussions around future planning which entailed topics about new publications, future providence events, the new WPC website and they drafted a proposed budget and agenda for the spring board meeting.  

The members especially enjoyed viewing the new website, being able to review and make comments on each page and ask for clarifications.  All agreed that the new website was attractive, inviting, user-friendly, and a welcome addition as a way of spreading news about “Providence” as well as showing what the Women of Providence in Collaboration have to offer.  Thanks to the designer of the website, Marilyn Dale, we now have a way to reach a wider audience.
