The Sisters of Divine Providence from Allison Park, PA used their building to give witness to hope during this time of the pandemic.

The Sisters of the Marie de la Roche province reached out to their friends, supporters, and partners in mission during the pandemic to unite in their mission of making God’s Providence visible in the world. Through emails, they invited their friends to submit their special prayer intentions, shared Cameron Bellm’s Prayer for a Pandemic, and initiated a phone connection ministry for those who wanted to personally connect with one of the Sisters or Associates. To show their gratitude to all who put themselves at risk to care for the rest of us, they, along with La Roche University, Providence Heights Alpha School and Kearns Spiritualty Center have been displaying their luminarias on the lawn of Providence Heights. From Easter Saturday until the end of the pandemic, they have candles lit in the windows of their homes and institutions as a sign of their hope and trust in a Provident God who is always Light in darkness. They have invited their partners in mission to do the same.
